Welcome to the Home of the Lakewood Swim Team!

If your child loves to swim, or loves the water and wants to be a better swimmer, then check out the Lakewood Swim Team!  Our Cruisers and Lasers teams have been around over 35 years!

We are a member of the Suburban Swim League , a Lee's Summit recreational swim league that hosts 8 teams from different neighborhoods. Lakewood is so large that we have 2 teams inside the league:

Our season is 6 weeks long of dual-meets plus a Championships weekend at the end of the season. Meets are typically held on Wednesday nights.

This is an amazing family environment, a great place to let your kids learn important swimming skills while living on a lake, and a great place to spend the summer connecting with neighbors!

Annual Registration

About Annual Registration:

Registration usually begins in April, beginning with returning members, and then new members. There is a limit, and positions will fill up.

Swim Team requirements: Space is limited to residents only. Must be age 7 by June 1 of the season, and must have a primary caregiver who is a resident. Must be able to swim the length of the pool (any stroke) – it does not have to be “pretty”!

Choosing a Team: Families can register for either team however historically, Cruisers  is made up of Lee's Summit schools on the West Lake and Lasers is made up of Blue Springs schools on the East Lake.
